Happy New Year, I'm Not Just Happy.

Every year it seems to appear before, during and after New Years Eve.

Loneliness.

The feeling of isolation moves in and all around me.

Whether with dear friends, my family, my partner, it washes over.

Ironically, I know I’m not alone in this.

It’s a familiar sensation for others too. New Years Eve = some waves of feeling deeply lonely.

I don’t like it. I fight it. I reach for something. More food? More drink? More people? More something!

It's HAPPY New Year.

What do we do with these feelings that aren’t just happy?
