Episode 3 - Letting It Out with Ivy Moon
“That silencing, that secrecy, it is what makes the shame even more intolerable.”
- Ivy Moon
Ivy Moon is a childhood abuse and neglect survivor and a sibling incest survivor. Instead of just talking about feelings like anger and shame, in this podcast we will explore more directly some ways of how to be with and process them together.
Ivy Moon grew up in Hong Kong and now lives in Brooklyn, NY. She is a trained breathwork teacher and is currently pursuing a Masters of Social Work degree at Fordham University. Her intention is to provide the tools of psychotherapy and breathwork to support and hold safe space for trauma and sexual abuse survivors on their paths to healing.
Her website and information about her breathwork groups can be found at www.ivymoonheals.com
